Todays class session was really an attention getter. Did a coded communication channel speech assignment. Where we all had to stand up in front of the whole class and represent the three things we had in our bag and how it decodes us. I was nervous at first just by watching my other classmates do their speech. Almost like a stage fright, but I got over it and I must say when I finally got called up and did it, it was kind of fun and what a relieve it was.

Mondays class
Friday, January 27, 2012
But there is still something blocking me from doing what I want to do. That one thing is, (having to go up in front of the class and presenting our speech for this coming monday. We have to have all together, 4 things in our bag. The forth thing that we have to talk about is our bag. This is going to be a big challenge for me and the people who have that stage fright.

January 25, 2012: Wednesday
I hope that tonights slide show presentation placed the theory of communication in a comfortable nutshell for each of you. As you have learned, we all have an intelligence. Some of us may have multiple intelligences. The connection is this: we can become effective and successful at communicating if we- obtain the knowledge and skill
- develop them (practice, practice, practice ...)
- use our strengths/intelligence
We all have the potential to use communication in our everyday lives effectively if we just do it. Hence, a famous poet once said that "The only way out is through".
